A sash clamp with a length of 800 mm and a jaw width of 120 mm. The design, based on cast iron jaws and a galvanised steel rail, provides a stable hold during assembly, gluing and working of wood and wood-based materials.
The special cast iron is resistant to deformation under heavy loads. The jaws maintain even pressure across the entire surface, which prevents damage to the material and movement of the components during gluing or machining.
The zinc coating protects the rail from corrosion, extending the tool's service life in workshop conditions. The steel rail construction provides rigidity and resistance to twisting when clamping irregularly shaped components.
The swivel pressure pad automatically adjusts to the surface of the material, even when the components vary in thickness. The screw mechanism allows precise adjustment of the clamping force, which matters when joining materials of different hardness.
The wooden handle, reinforced with a metal ferrule, combines ergonomics with mechanical strength. The lacquered surface provides good grip when tightening, and the metal ferrule prevents the wood from splitting at the point of greatest stress.

The 800 mm length allows components up to around 750 mm wide to be clamped, allowing for the jaws and the adjustment mechanism. When gluing longer components, it is advisable to use several clamps spaced 40–60 cm apart to distribute the pressure evenly.
Before use, check that the jaws and rail are clean – residual glue or shavings can leave marks on the workpiece. The clamping screw should be oiled periodically with machine oil, which makes adjustment easier and prevents the thread from seizing.
After use, release the clamp to minimise stress in the structure. Storing it in a dry place protects the galvanised rail from corrosion, particularly in conditions of high humidity.
The cast iron jaws are resistant to damage, but avoiding impact from metal objects prevents the formation of sharp edges that could dent softwood species during clamping.
