A steel satin finishing attachment designed for mounting on angle grinders fitted with an M14 thread. It converts a standard angle grinder into a tool for polishing and satin finishing metal and wooden surfaces, without the need to buy a separate machine.

M14 thread compatibility
The M14 thread is the standard used by most manufacturers of 115–230 mm angle grinders. The attachment fits tools from a range of brands without the need for additional adapters – simply unscrew the working disc and fit the attachment in its place.
2 mm steel body
The body is made from 2 mm steel, which gives the structure rigidity when working with materials of varying hardness. The thickness of the steel plate has a direct effect on resistance to deformation under greater lateral loads.
Anti-slip handle
The anti-slip surface of the handle gives a more secure grip, particularly when working in protective gloves or in damp conditions. This translates into greater accuracy when guiding the attachment along the surface being worked.
Complete mounting kit
The kit contains an adapter for mounting the abrasive wheel, an Allen key and three flanges in different sizes. The supplied flanges allow the attachment to be matched to abrasive wheels with different bore diameters, without having to source dedicated parts.

How to check compatibility with your angle grinder
Before purchase, check the spindle thread of your angle grinder. The M14 thread is the standard used on angle grinders with discs from 115 to 230 mm – you can confirm it in the technical documentation for the tool or by measuring the outside diameter of the spindle thread (14 mm). Grinders with a 5/8" thread (used mainly on tools intended for the North American market) require a separate adapter.
Operation and maintenance
Before fitting the attachment, the grinder should be disconnected from the mains. The abrasive wheel is secured using the supplied adapter and Allen key, with the correct flange selected for its mounting bore. After use, clean the attachment of metal and wood dust, which prevents corrosion and keeps the fastening components in good working order. For long-term storage, the steel body can be protected with a thin layer of machine oil.
