The KD354 scissor jack is a mechanical device designed for lifting passenger cars and light commercial vehicles weighing up to 2 tonnes. The scissor mechanism provides stable support throughout the working range, from a minimum height of 127 mm to a maximum of 330 mm, which allows typical service work on wheels and the underbody to be carried out.
The scissor (pantograph) design distributes the load evenly across four support points, which translates into vehicle stability during lifting. Compared with a screw jack, a scissor jack requires less effort to operate at the same capacity.
The low collapsed height (127 mm) allows the jack to be slid under vehicles with low ground clearance, such as sports or lowered cars. A lifting range of 203 mm is sufficient for changing a wheel or checking suspension components without the need for additional spacers.
The permitted load of 2 tonnes covers most passenger cars and compact vans. Before use, check the vehicle's unladen weight (GVW) on the registration certificate and make sure it does not exceed the stated capacity.
The frame is made from a material resistant to corrosion and changing weather conditions, which allows the unit to be stored in an unheated garage or workshop without the risk of accelerated wear to the load-bearing components.

Before use, check two parameters: the vehicle's unladen weight (it must not exceed 2000 kg) and the underbody clearance at the jacking point — it must be at least 127 mm so that the jack can be positioned correctly. The jacking points (so-called service lifting points) are marked in the vehicle's owner's manual.
The scissor jack must be positioned only on a hard, level surface. Before lifting the vehicle, apply the handbrake and chock the wheels on the opposite side. The device is intended solely for lifting the vehicle — it must not be used as permanent support during work that requires spending a longer time under the vehicle; in such cases, additional axle stands must be used.
After each use, clean the moving parts of dirt and apply a thin layer of grease to the lifting screw, which prevents corrosion and keeps the mechanism operating smoothly.
