Hammer drill bit with an SDS Max shank, designed for heavy-duty drilling in structural concrete and reinforced concrete. The four-cutter head ensures stable guidance and effective breaking of the material even when steel reinforcement is encountered. The 1000 mm length allows deep holes to be drilled in load-bearing elements.
Features
Four-cutter cutting head
Four cutting edges arranged symmetrically around the axis of the bit ensure precise centring during drilling, limit lateral deviation and reduce the vibration transmitted to the machine. Compared with two-cutter drill bits, four cutting edges cope more effectively with hard aggregates and reinforcing bars.
SDS Max shank — high impact energy
The SDS Max system has a larger shank cross-section (18 mm) than SDS Plus (10 mm), which allows significantly higher impact energy to be transmitted. The bit is designed for heavy-duty rotary hammers in the 5–15 J class, used for drilling into reinforced concrete and solid elements. Before use, make sure the drill is fitted with an SDS Max chuck — the system is not compatible with SDS Plus.
Efficient removal of drill debris
The spiral conveying flute with a suitable helix angle carries crushed concrete particles out of the hole. Efficient removal of debris prevents the bit from seizing in the hole and keeps drilling performance from dropping, which is particularly important for deep holes of up to 1000 mm.
Designed for work in reinforced concrete
The geometry and material of the cutting edges are selected for work in conditions involving contact with reinforcing bars. The bit does not require the user to interrupt drilling when reinforcement is encountered, which shortens the time needed to drill holes in structural elements such as slabs, load-bearing walls and foundations.

Machine compatibility
The bit is designed for use exclusively with drills and rotary hammers fitted with an SDS Max chuck. Before purchase, check the chuck type in the machine's documentation — the marking SDS Max or SDS-Max. The SDS Plus chuck, used in lighter machines, is not compatible with this bit owing to the different size and shape of the shank.
