Hammer drill bit with an SDS Plus shank, designed for heavy-duty drilling in concrete and reinforced concrete. The four-cutter head and 1000 mm working length allow deep holes to be drilled in concrete structures, including where steel reinforcement is encountered.
Key features
Four-cutter head
Four symmetrically arranged cutting edges distribute the cutting forces evenly. In practice, this means better centring of the drill bit at the start of drilling, less vibration during operation and more effective breaking up of hard aggregate and rebar in reinforced concrete.
SDS Plus shank
The standardised SDS Plus shank allows tool-free fitting in rotary hammers that use this standard. The grooved seat ensures effective transfer of impact energy from the tool to the drill bit, which is essential when drilling into hard building materials.
1000 mm working length
The 1000 mm overall length allows deep through-holes to be drilled in ceilings, load-bearing walls and foundations without the need for extensions. This matters for installation work that involves running pipes or cables through thick partitions.
Effective removal of drill debris
Spiral flutes on the drill bit shank carry the crushed material out of the hole as you drill. This prevents the bit from jamming in the hole and the head from overheating, which has a direct effect on the durability of the tool and the quality of the finished hole.
