Masonry drill bit with an SDS Plus shank, 18 mm diameter and 800 mm working length. Fitted with a tungsten carbide insert, designed for drilling into concrete, reinforced concrete and brickwork.
A tool retention system used in rotary hammers and hammer drills. It allows quick tool changes without the need for a chuck key and ensures effective transfer of hammer energy. Compatible with tools from Bosch, Makita, DeWalt, Metabo and others.
The cutting tip, made from carbide (sintered tungsten carbide), has a hardness of approximately 1500-2000 HV. The material retains its cutting properties even at temperatures up to 800°C, which matters during intensive drilling.
An 18 mm bore is used when installing electrical, plumbing and ventilation systems. It allows cables and pipes of up to 16 mm in diameter to be run through, while leaving a fitting clearance.
An overall length of 800 mm allows drilling through walls up to 700 mm thick. The working length (fluted section) is approximately 720 mm, which is sufficient for through holes in most structural walls.

The drill bit requires a rotary hammer or hammer drill with an SDS Plus chuck. It is not intended for use in non-impact drills. Recommended tool power: minimum 800 W for standard concrete, 1000-1200 W for reinforced concrete.
For C20/25 concrete: rotational speed 400-600 rpm, feed rate 2-4 mm/rev. For reinforced concrete: reduce the speed to 300-400 rpm. During drilling, use water cooling or pause every 50-100 mm of depth.
After use, clean the flutes of concrete dust with compressed air. Check the condition of the carbide insert – chipping greater than 2 mm requires the drill bit to be replaced. Store in a dry place and protect the tip from impact.
