Hammer drill bit with an SDS-Plus shank, designed for drilling holes in concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry. The 25 mm diameter and 450 mm working length make it possible to drill deep holes for chemical anchors, services and service penetrations.
A standard shank used on hammer drills. It allows rapid, tool-free bit changes and locks into place automatically. Compatible with most hammer drills up to 5 kg.
The cutting tip is made of tungsten carbide – a material with a hardness of 1500-2000 HV that resists abrasion when drilling concrete and stone. It stays sharp far longer than tool steel.
A size suited to fitting M16-M20 anchors, installing pipes up to 20 mm in diameter and creating penetrations for electrical cables and plumbing and drainage services.
Allows drilling through walls up to 40 cm thick and creating deep holes for chemical anchors in solid structures. The overall length of the drill bit is approximately 510-520 mm.

The drill bit requires a hammer drill with an SDS-Plus chuck. It does not fit cordless drill/drivers or drills with a keyless chuck. Before buying, check the chuck type on your drill – an SDS-Plus shank is 10 mm in diameter and has distinctive grooves.
Apply steady, moderate pressure while drilling – excessive force reduces efficiency and accelerates tip wear. In reinforced concrete, if you hit the reinforcement, reduce the speed and increase the impact rate.
After use, clean concrete dust off the drill bit with compressed air or a brush. Periodically lubricate the SDS-Plus shank with graphite grease – this prevents it jamming in the drill chuck.
Store drill bits in a dry place, protected from impact. A damaged carbide tip (chipping, cracking) means the drill bit must no longer be used.
