A professional hammer drill bit with an SDS Plus shank, designed for intensive drilling in reinforced concrete, concrete and brick. The 4-cutter carbide tip and deep spiral flute ensure efficient dust removal when drilling 8 mm holes to a working length of up to 460 mm.
Precision grinding of the flute surface reduces friction during drilling, which means more holes can be drilled before the bit needs replacing. The ground surface also reduces heat build-up when working in hard materials.
The reinforced cutting head with four cutters and additional edges drills through rebar in reinforced concrete without damaging the bit. The cutter geometry ensures efficient breaking of concrete and stable guidance while drilling.
The four-flute spiral design ensures effective removal of drilling dust from the hole, which prevents the bit from jamming and shortens drilling time. The flute geometry allows full-length drilling without the need to withdraw the tool frequently.
The carbide tip is joined to the body by an automated brazing process, guaranteeing resistance to the high temperatures generated during intensive drilling. The technology produces a durable joint that withstands impact loads.

The bit works with all hammer drills and rotary hammers fitted with an SDS Plus chuck. The SDS Plus system has a 10 mm shank diameter and four guide slots, which allow quick tool changes without additional keys. Before buying, check the chuck type on your tool – SDS Plus bits do not fit the SDS Max chucks used on heavier demolition hammers.
Before drilling, check that the bit is correctly seated in the chuck – a distinctive click confirms that it is locked. When working in reinforced concrete, hammer drilling mode with variable rotational speed is recommended. If you hit rebar, do not increase the feed pressure – the additional cutting edges of the Premium bit will drill through it at standard operating parameters.
After use, clean concrete dust from the bit with compressed air or a brush. The SDS Plus shank should be lubricated periodically with graphite grease, which keeps the tool-change mechanism working smoothly and protects against corrosion. Do not store the bit in damp rooms.
The bit design maintains the nominal 8 mm diameter even after repeated use. This means the holes stay true to size, which makes it easier to fit expansion anchors and chemical anchors – the fixings are neither too loose nor too tight. With standard bits, carbide wear widens the hole, which makes selecting the right anchors more difficult.
