The KD3212 is an electric SDS-Plus rotary hammer designed for demanding drilling and chiselling work in concrete, steel and wood. 2600W of power combined with 4J of impact energy allows work in harder materials without the need to apply excessive pressure.
An input power of 2600W translates into efficient motor performance, while the 4J impact energy defines the actual force with which the piston strikes the material. Higher impact energy means less pressure is required and holes are completed faster — particularly important when drilling reinforced concrete or stone.
The SDS-Plus system (Special Direct System) allows drill bits and chisels to be fitted without tools — simply insert and twist. The tool shank has a standardised groove, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of drill bits and chisels available on the market. Before buying accessories, make sure they are marked SDS-Plus, not SDS-Max.
Variable speed in the 0–1470 rpm range lets you match the operating parameters to the material and drill bit diameter — lower speeds for large bits in hard materials, higher speeds when drilling wood. Reverse rotation (anti-clockwise) makes it easier to remove a jammed drill bit without risking damage to the tool.
5200 blows per minute (bpm) is the parameter that defines how many times per minute the piston of the hammer mechanism strikes the drill bit shank. The high frequency combined with 4J of energy speeds up material breaking, which shortens the time needed to complete a hole and reduces drill bit wear.

The KD3212 hammer works with standard SDS-Plus drill bits and chisels. When buying drill bits, check for the SDS-Plus (SDS+) marking — they are not compatible with the SDS-Max system used in heavier hammers. The maximum drilling diameters quoted refer to standard operating conditions; in harder materials, drill bits of smaller diameter are recommended.
Before first use, read the operating instructions supplied with the set in Polish. When drilling reinforced concrete, drill bits with a tungsten carbide tip are recommended. After finishing work, clean the SDS-Plus chuck of dust and apply a small amount of grease, which extends the life of the locking mechanism. Do not exceed the maximum drilling diameters quoted — excessive load may cause the motor to overheat.
