The 230 mm segmented diamond blade is designed for dry cutting of building materials such as concrete, brick and ceramic blocks. It is fitted with an industrial-grade diamond segment with a height of 10 mm, ensuring efficient cutting with angle grinders.
A tall diamond segment increases the total working surface area of the blade, which translates into a longer service life before replacement is required. A greater segment height means more abrasive material available for work, which is particularly important during intensive use on building sites.
The segment contains grade A industrial diamond combined with an optimally matched cobalt bond hardness. This composition provides a balance between durability and cutting performance — the segment does not wear too quickly, yet exposes new diamond grains at the right rate.
A smaller segment cross-section reduces resistance during cutting, which in turn reduces the load on the angle grinder's motor. This translates into a faster working pace, lower energy consumption and a reduced risk of chipping the edges of the material being cut, particularly with clay bricks.
The blade's design allows it to be used without water cooling. The dry cutting method eliminates the need for a water supply, which increases mobility and simplifies work organisation. The segments are designed to dissipate the heat generated during cutting without the risk of overheating.

The 230 mm diamond blade is designed to be fitted to angle grinders with the appropriate blade diameter. Before purchase, check the blade's bore diameter and the grinder's spindle diameter. As standard, 230 mm blades have a 22.2 mm bore, which is the most common size for grinders in this class.
When dry cutting with a diamond blade, take breaks every few minutes to allow the segments to cool. Continuous cutting for an extended period can lead to overheating and premature diamond wear. Cuts should be made to a depth of no more than 1/3 of the blade diameter in a single pass.
Before starting work, check the condition of the blade — cracks, chipped segments or a deformed body disqualify the blade from use. The blade should be fitted in accordance with the grinder's instructions, observing the correct direction of rotation marked by the arrow on the blade.
If there is a noticeable drop in cutting performance, the diamond segment may need to be refreshed. This is done by making a few cuts in an abrasive material, such as sandstone or a dedicated diamond blade dressing stone, which exposes new diamond grains.
Cutting building materials with a diamond blade produces a large amount of dust containing silica particles. Personal protective equipment is mandatory: an FFP2 or FFP3 dust mask, safety goggles and hearing protection. Working in well-ventilated areas or outdoors is recommended.
