Professional work trousers with flexible 4WAY STRETCH panels, designed for users who need complete freedom of movement during intensive physical work. The SERWAL model combines a 260 g/m² polyester-cotton fabric with panels made of polyamide and elastane (270 g/m²), delivering durability and ergonomics in equal measure.
The panels, made from 94% polyamide and 6% elastane, stretch in four directions, which removes any restriction on movement when squatting, bending the knees or reaching. The 270 g/m² weight of the panels provides resistance to abrasion in areas exposed to intensive use.
The pocket layout includes a multi-function pocket with a concealed zip (keeping a phone or wallet secure), flap pockets with hook-and-loop fastening, narrow pockets designed for a pen or tape measure, and two spacious rear pockets with zips. The layout optimises access to tools so you never have to search for them.
Sewn-in press studs allow the legs to be shortened by approximately 4 cm without any need for tailoring. A useful feature when adjusting the trousers to the wearer's height or when working in footwear with different shaft heights.
Double stitching at critical points (crotch, pockets, knees) increases resistance to tearing under intensive use. Reinforcing the points where stress concentrates extends the service life of the trousers compared with standard constructions.

Combining synthetic and natural fibres strikes a balance between abrasion resistance (polyester) and breathability and moisture absorption (cotton). A weight of 260 g/m² indicates a medium-thickness fabric – hard-wearing enough for intensive use without restricting movement. This fabric performs well at moderate temperatures and requires no specialist care.
Polyamide (nylon) is distinguished by exceptional resistance to stretching and abrasion, while elastane (spandex) provides four-way stretch. An elastane content of 6% is enough to achieve the 4WAY STRETCH effect without any loss of shape after repeated stretching. The panels are positioned around the knees, crotch and waist – the areas requiring the greatest flexibility.
The YATO YT-79130 trousers meet the requirements of Category I personal protective equipment, which means protection against minimal mechanical risks. This category covers clothing that protects against:
Category I does not require certification by a notified body, which means the trousers are not intended for protection against high-risk hazards (chemicals, temperature, electric current). They do, however, provide a basic protective barrier in typical physical working conditions.
Size S corresponds to a waist circumference of 76-80 cm and is intended for wearers of slim build. Before buying, it is worth measuring your waist circumference at the point where you wear the trousers (usually at hip level) and comparing it with the manufacturer's size chart. The flexible 4WAY STRETCH panels compensate for small differences in measurement, but they are no substitute for correctly choosing the base size.
The polyester-cotton fabric with polyamide and elastane panels should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C in order to preserve the elastic properties of the fibres. Avoid tumble drying – high temperatures can damage the elastane and cause the fabric to shrink. Iron at a low temperature, avoiding the stretch panels. Do not use chlorine bleach.
