A 14 mm combination spanner in the short version, designed for work in confined spaces. Made from 40CrV chrome vanadium steel with a 12-point ring end that provides a precise grip on nuts and bolts.
The steel alloy enriched with chromium and vanadium offers increased resistance to wear and deformation. Chromium provides corrosion resistance, while vanadium improves the hardness and mechanical strength of the tool while maintaining adequate flexibility.
The 12-point profile allows movement in 30-degree increments instead of the standard 60 degrees of a 6-point profile. This solution enables faster work in areas with limited access, where a full turn of the spanner is not possible.
The ring end is set at a 15-degree angle to the axis of the spanner, which makes it easier to manoeuvre in places where there are obstructions. The offset allows work on nuts positioned deeper or close to other structural components.
An overall length of 115 mm classifies this spanner as the short version, designed specifically for work in tight workshop spaces, around car engines and in installation cabinets where standard spanners are too long.

The 14 mm size corresponds to the distance across the flats of a nut or bolt head. It is most commonly used for M8 and M10 bolts. Before use, check that the spanner does not have any play on the nut - play can damage the edges of the fastener and make it more difficult to remove later.
A combination spanner should be matched exactly to the size of the nut or bolt. Using a spanner of the wrong size damages the edges of the fastener and reduces tightening effectiveness. The ring end provides a better grip and greater torque than the open end, so the ring side is recommended for tightening.
When working, pull the spanner towards you rather than pushing it away - this gives better control over the tool and reduces the risk of injury if the spanner slips. For seized connections, apply penetrating oil and wait a few minutes before trying to loosen them again.
After use, clean the spanner of any contamination and protect it with a thin layer of oil if it is to be stored in damp areas. Do not use the spanner as a lever or a hammer - doing so can permanently deform the tool and cause it to lose its properties.
