A universal knife with an 18 mm snap-off blade in a rubberised housing. Designed for cutting wallpaper, cardboard, floor coverings and other materials in finishing and renovation work.
Technical features
18 mm snap-off blade
The blade is divided into segments, so the cutting edge can be renewed by snapping off the worn section. The 18 mm width ensures stable cutting of thicker materials and greater durability than standard 9 mm blades.
Metal blade guide
The reinforced metal guide rail eliminates lateral blade play during cutting. It keeps the knife precisely on track and improves safety during intensive use.
Rubberised handle
The contoured housing with a non-slip rubber coating provides a secure grip even with damp hands. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during prolonged work.
Blade extension mechanism

Use and maintenance
Renewing the blade
When the cutting edge becomes blunt, extend the blade fully, secure the knife and snap off the worn segment using the special slot in the rear of the knife or a pair of pliers. A single 18 mm blade usually has 8 snap-off segments.
Replacing the blade
Once all the segments have been used, the whole blade must be replaced. On most knives of this type, the blade is replaced by undoing the retaining screw at the front or sliding the housing apart. Use 18 mm blades only.
Safe working
Always retract the blade fully into the housing after use. When cutting, move the knife away from your body. Avoid cutting towards the hand holding the material. Store out of the reach of children.
