A universal snap-off knife with an 18 mm blade, designed for cutting wallpaper, cardboard, floor coverings and other materials. The contoured handle with a non-slip coating provides a secure grip during use.
The snap-off blade system allows the cutting edge to be renewed quickly without replacing the whole blade. Once a segment becomes blunt, simply snap off the used section to expose a sharp edge straight away. The 18mm width provides sufficient rigidity when cutting thicker materials.
The reinforced metal guide stabilises the blade during cutting and protects the extension mechanism from damage. It prevents the blade from deflecting sideways, which improves cutting precision and safety.
The ergonomic handle shape follows the natural position of the hand and reduces fatigue during prolonged use. The rubberised coating ensures a firm grip even in damp conditions and prevents slipping.
The tough plastic construction reduces the weight of the tool and eliminates the risk of corrosion. The material withstands the typical conditions of renovation and building work, including contact with moisture and chemicals.

When the cutting edge becomes blunt, extend the blade to its full length, secure it in the jaws of a pair of pliers or a dedicated blade snapper, then snap off the blunt segment at a right angle. Dispose of the snapped segment safely. An 18mm blade typically has eight segments to snap off.
Always direct the blade away from your body and keep your fingers clear of the cutting line. After use, the blade should be fully retracted into the body. Store the knife out of the reach of children. Used blade segments should be treated as hazardous waste.
Clean dust and debris from the blade extension mechanism periodically. If the mechanism jams, apply a drop of machine oil. Clean the body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid immersing the tool in water.
