Socket 6-point 60mm 1" GEKO G14060
6-point socket, 60 mm in size, with a 1" drive, designed for use with heavy-duty impact wrenches and air tools. Made from chrome vanadium steel with heat treatment that increases the tool's durability.
Technical characteristics
1" (25.4 mm) drive
The 1" drive is the standard for professional air and impact tools. Compatible with heavy-duty torque wrenches and impact wrenches used in truck workshops, industry and construction.
Chrome vanadium steel (CrV)
CrV alloy steel offers increased hardness and wear resistance. The addition of vanadium improves the material's fatigue strength, which extends the socket's service life when working with high torques.
Heat treatment
The process of hardening and tempering the steel at controlled temperatures provides an optimum material structure. It increases surface hardness while retaining a ductile core, which protects against cracking under impact loads.
Chrome plated finish
A chrome layer several micrometres thick protects the steel against corrosion and makes cleaning easier. The polished surface reduces friction and prevents dirt from accumulating during work.

Tool compatibility
The socket works with all tools fitted with a 1" (25.4 mm) square drive. Before use, check that the impact wrench or torque wrench delivers a torque suitable for the M36-M42 bolt size. Typical ranges are 200-1500 Nm for professional air tools.
Use and maintenance
1" sockets are exposed to high loads and therefore require regular checks of their condition. Before each use, check that the internal profile shows no signs of wear (rounded edges) and that the drive has no play. A worn profile can cause the corners of the nut to round off.
After work, clean the socket of dirt and protect it with a thin layer of anti-corrosion oil. Storing it in dry conditions prevents corrosion, which can weaken the material structure. Do not use the socket as a lever extension or subject it to hammer blows – doing so may cause hidden cracks in the material.
