Solar LED Floodlight with Remote Control KD3480
The KD3480 is a solar LED light designed for outdoor installation, fitted with a motion and dusk sensor, three operating modes and a remote control. Photovoltaic power eliminates the need for a mains connection, which simplifies installation and reduces running costs.

3 operating modes
Mode 1 activates the light at 100% brightness only when motion is detected after dark. Mode 2 keeps it at 20% brightness throughout the night and increases this to 100% when motion is detected. Mode 3 provides constant illumination at 50% after dusk. Choosing a mode lets you match energy consumption to your actual lighting requirements.
Motion and dusk sensor
The built-in dusk sensor automatically switches the light on once darkness falls, while the motion sensor reacts to approaching people or vehicles. Combining both sensors limits unnecessary use of the energy stored during the day, which extends operating time on a single charge.
Remote control
The supplied remote control lets you change the operating mode and control the light without needing physical access to the unit. This is particularly useful when the light is mounted at height or in hard-to-reach places.
Tilt angle adjustment
The adjustable bracket lets you position the solar panel at the optimum angle to the sun, which improves battery charging efficiency. At the same time, it allows the light beam to be aimed precisely at the chosen area.
IP65 rating
The IP65 rating indicates complete protection against dust (6) and resistance to water jets under pressure from any direction (5). The light can be used outdoors all year round, including in rain and snow, without any risk of damage to the electronics.

Use and maintenance
The solar panel should be mounted in an unshaded location facing south or south-west, which provides the maximum number of sunlight hours per day. The panel tilt angle should take the current season into account — in winter the sun sits lower above the horizon, so the optimum angle is greater than in summer.
The surface of the solar panel should be cleaned periodically to remove dust, leaves and atmospheric deposits, as dirt reduces charging efficiency. A soft, damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning. The lenses and the housing of the light can be wiped in the same way.
Cool white light (a colour temperature of around 6000 K) offers a high level of detail definition, which makes it well suited to applications that require good visibility — at driveways, building exits or monitored areas.
