A bit socket with a Spline profile, designed for fitting and removing spline drive bolts. The construction combines a 1/2" socket made from CrV6150 steel with an M17 bit made from AISI S2 steel.
Features of the Spline bit socket
Spline profile
The Spline profile has 12 teeth evenly spaced around the axis. It provides a larger contact area than standard profiles, which translates into better force distribution and a lower risk of damaging the bolt when working at high torque.
CrV6150 steel in the socket
The socket is made from CrV6150 chrome vanadium steel with a chrome plating. Chrome plating increases resistance to corrosion and wear, extending tool life in workshop conditions. The material provides the hardness needed to withstand mechanical loads.
AISI S2 steel bit
