GEKO G17254 cable ties are stainless steel fastening elements designed for permanent bundling of cables, wires, pipes and conduit in conditions exposed to moisture, corrosion, UV radiation and mechanical vibration. The stainless steel metal construction provides significantly higher resistance to breaking and deformation compared with plastic cable ties.
Metal cable ties do not degrade under UV radiation, do not crack at low temperatures and do not lose their pre-tension under long-term load — which is a typical problem with plastic cable ties used outdoors or in engine bays.
Stainless steel retains its mechanical properties in contact with water, oil, mud and the chemicals used in industrial and automotive installations. The cable ties are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications without additional surface protection.
The self-locking catch allows quick installation without specialist tools. Once tightened, the cable tie maintains constant tension, which prevents the joint from loosening under vibration — important for fixings on vehicles and machinery.
The larger pack quantity is useful for installation work involving many fixing points, as well as for regular servicing and repairs where cable ties are replaced as a preventive measure. The uniform size of 4.6 x 350 mm simplifies planning material usage.

The 350 mm length determines the maximum circumference of the item being bundled. When bundling cables or pipes, measure the circumference of the cross-section and choose a cable tie at least 30–50 mm longer to ensure sufficient overlap for the locking mechanism to engage correctly.
