Steel/Rubber Swivel Castor G71514 GEKO
A transport wheel with a steel construction and rubber tyre, fitted with a swivel mechanism and mounting plate. Designed for trolleys, furniture and workshop equipment that needs to be mobile while protecting the floor surface.

Steel construction
The wheel centre (rim) and the bracket are made of steel, which provides mechanical strength and a long service life. The steel construction maintains geometric stability even under prolonged loads of up to 70 kg.
Rubber tyre
The rubber tread provides better grip than plastic wheels and eliminates the risk of scratching the floor. The rubber material absorbs vibration and reduces noise during movement.
Swivel bracket with mounting plate
The swivel mechanism allows 360-degree rotation, which improves the manoeuvrability of the equipment. The mounting plate allows the castor to be securely fixed to a structure with bolts or screws.
70 kg load capacity
The maximum static load is 70 kg per castor. In four-castor sets the total capacity is up to 280 kg, assuming the weight is evenly distributed.

Mounting dimensions
Before purchasing, check the mounting plate dimensions (80 × 80 mm) and the bolt hole spacing (62 mm). The overall height of the castor is 126 mm – this parameter must be taken into account when designing a mobile structure, particularly where there are height restrictions.

Installation and use
The castor is fitted with four bolts or screws through the holes in the mounting plate. The hole spacing is 62 mm on both axes. Use bolts of a suitable diameter and length, matched to the thickness of the material the castor is being fixed to.
With multi-castor sets, the fixing points should be evenly distributed so that the weight is spread proportionally across all the castors. For loads close to the maximum, reinforcing washers are recommended under the mounting plate.
The swivel mechanism requires periodic cleaning to remove dirt and lubrication of the bearing where use is intensive. The rubber tyre requires no maintenance, but prolonged contact with chemical substances that dissolve rubber should be avoided.
