Air die grinder with a 6 mm collet, designed for precision grinding, polishing and engraving. Powered by compressed air at a working pressure of 6.3 bar.
The high speed of the tool ensures efficient grinding and polishing of a range of materials. This parameter determines the material removal rate and the quality of the surface finish. At this speed, the tool performs well on both metals and plastics.
A 6 mm collet is the standard size for straight die grinders and allows most grinding discs, mounted points, brushes and polishing heads on the market to be fitted. The collet chuck allows quick accessory changes without the use of additional tools.
The compressed air drive eliminates the risk of the motor overheating during prolonged use. A working pressure of 6.3 bar (90 psi) is standard for most workshop compressors. Air consumption is 198 l/min, which requires a compressor with an output of at least 200 l/min.
The 1/4 inch euro-type coupling allows instant connection to the air system. The quick-release coupling system provides a leak-free connection and allows tools to be swapped without disconnecting the hoses. Compatible with standard air hoses.

For correct operation, the grinder requires a compressor with an output of at least 200 l/min at 6.3 bar. An air filter with a moisture separator and an oiler for pneumatic tools are recommended. The air hose should have an internal diameter of at least 8 mm to ensure adequate flow. The recommended hose length is a maximum of 10 metres – longer hoses can cause a pressure drop and reduce the power of the tool.
Pneumatic tools require regular lubrication with pneumatic oil. Before each use, add 3–5 drops of oil through the air inlet. If the air system has no automatic oiler, lubricate the tool daily. After use, blow the tool through with compressed air to remove dirt. Storing the tool in a dry place prevents corrosion of the internal components.
The 6 mm collet accepts all grinding discs, mounted points and polishing heads with a shank of this diameter. For grinding metal, use corundum discs in grits 36–120; for polishing, use felt and cotton mops with polishing compounds. Carbide burrs are suitable for engraving and detail work, while wire brushes are used for removing rust and scale. For safety reasons and to prevent overloading the collet, the maximum disc diameter should not exceed 25 mm.
When choosing accessories, check the maximum speed stated by the manufacturer of the disc or burr. This value must be equal to or higher than 22,000 rpm. Using accessories with a lower maximum speed may cause them to be damaged or to shatter during use.
