The Kraft&Dele KD11850 strimmer line is a universal consumable designed for petrol and electric brushcutters and strimmers. Its twisted, reinforced cross-section offers greater mechanical resistance than smooth round-profile line, which translates into a longer service life in demanding working conditions.
The twisted structure of the line increases its stiffness and tensile strength compared with a round profile. On impact with a hard object — a stone, kerb or post — the line flexes elastically instead of snapping, which reduces material consumption and how often it needs replacing.
The line's material has increased surface hardness, which slows down wear on contact with soil, sand and tough vegetation. The cutting edge stays effective for longer without the need to feed out a new length.
Line with a 2.5 mm diameter falls into the medium-to-heavy range. It performs well when cutting tougher, dense vegetation — weeds, meadow grass and young growth. Before use, make sure the brushcutter or strimmer head is rated for this line size; this information can be found in the machine's operating manual.
A 100 m spool provides a supply that lasts several seasons with standard use. The large amount of line on a single spool reduces the need for frequent reordering and allows you to keep a spare supply for the next season.

Before fitting the line, check the acceptable line diameter range for the head in your brushcutter or strimmer operating manual. Most semi-professional and professional machines accept line in the 2.0–3.0 mm range. Twisted-profile line may need to be wound onto the head spool by hand; the winding method is described in the machine's manual or on the label on the head.
