Square-profile cutting line for petrol and electric strimmers. Made from tough plastic resistant to breaking and abrasion.
Four sharp cutting edges increase the cutting surface compared with round line. The square profile cuts dense grass and young shrub shoots more efficiently thanks to its more aggressive cutting action.
A medium diameter suitable for most petrol strimmers rated 0.7–1.2 kW. It balances durability against engine load. Ideal for cutting medium-density grass and clearing weeds.
A material resistant to bending, stretching and breaking. Increased abrasion resistance extends the working life of the line in demanding conditions – on contact with stones, kerbs and fences.
Enough for several refills in an automatic or bump-feed head. At typical wear rates it lasts around 3–5 seasons of use in a domestic garden of up to 500 m².

Before buying, check the maximum line diameter in your strimmer's manual. 1.6 mm is standard for petrol units above 0.7 kW and for most electric strimmers above 500 W. On automatic heads, check the maximum line diameter – it is usually 2.0–2.4 mm.
On bump-feed heads, wind the line onto the spool by hand following the direction of the arrows, leaving around 10–15 cm of free ends. On automatic heads, simply feed a length of line through the eyelets and press the button – the spool winds itself. Once fitted, check that both ends are of similar length (around 12–15 cm).
During use the line wears down gradually through abrasion against the ground and contact with hard obstacles. Check the length of the ends regularly – when they shorten to 5–8 cm, feed more line out or replace the spool.
Store the line in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Plastic can lose its flexibility and become brittle under UV light. Store at temperatures between 5 and 25°C.
Avoid working in areas with lots of stones and rubble – this accelerates line wear and increases the risk of breakage. When trimming along hard edges (concrete, metal), reduce the trimmer's speed to limit abrasion.
