Swivel Castor with Brake 75mm PP/TPR G71513 GEKO
Swivel castor with a double brake, designed for mounting on transport trolleys, mobile shelving and industrial equipment. The design combines a steel swivel bracket with a polypropylene wheel centre and a TPR tyre.
Technical features
2-in-1 brake – wheel and swivel lock
The braking system simultaneously locks the rotation of the wheel and the swivel of the whole bracket around the vertical axis. This ensures full stability of the equipment during loading or stationary operation.
Polypropylene (PP) wheel centre
Polypropylene is resistant to impact and point loads. It does not absorb moisture and retains its mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. The PP centre reduces the weight of the castor while maintaining a load capacity of 60 kg.
TPR tyre
The TPR thermoplastic elastomer combines the flexibility of rubber with the processability of plastics. The tyre provides vibration damping, leaves no marks on sensitive floors (laminate, tiles, resin) and reduces rolling noise.
Chemical resistance
The materials used in the construction are resistant to cleaning with solvents, alcohols, and solutions of acids and alkalis. The castor can be used in industrial environments that require regular disinfection or contact with chemicals.

Installation and compatibility
The castor is mounted using a 65×65 mm mounting plate with four mounting holes. Before installation, check that the combined load capacity of all the castors exceeds the weight of the equipment by at least 20%. Mounting hole spacing: 40×50 mm (l1×b1) or 50×50 mm (l2×b2).
Use and maintenance
The castor requires periodic inspection of its technical condition. Check for play in the swivel bracket bearings and inspect the TPR tyre for cracks or excessive wear. The brake mechanism should be cleaned of dirt every 3 months.
The maximum load capacity of 60 kg per castor must not be exceeded. Use at temperatures below -10°C or above +60°C may affect the flexibility of the TPR tyre. Avoid prolonged contact with organic solvents (acetone, toluene).
