Syntex woven roller with a 25 cm working width, designed for applying emulsion, acrylic and latex paints to walls and ceilings. Supplied with a plastic handle with a 6 mm thread for fitting a telescopic extension pole.
Features of the Syntex paint roller
Syntex woven construction
The Syntex synthetic fibre absorbs paint evenly and releases it in a controlled way. The woven construction prevents streaking and delivers an even finish with no visible lap marks between successive passes of the roller.
25 cm working width
A 25 cm length is the standard for work on medium and large surfaces. This width covers walls and ceilings quickly while keeping the tool under control, reducing the number of passes and saving painting time.
Handle with 6 mm thread
The plastic handle ends in a 6 mm thread that accepts a telescopic extension pole. This lets you paint ceilings and the upper parts of walls without a ladder, extending your reach and improving safety while painting.
Suitable for water-based paints

How to choose a roller for the surface type
Syntex woven rollers perform well on smooth and medium-textured surfaces. For walls with textured render, a longer-pile roller is worth considering. Before first use, dampen the roller with water and remove the excess; this improves absorption and gives a more even application of paint.
Use and maintenance
Before you start painting, dampen the roller with water and remove the excess by rolling it several times over a dry surface. This helps the fibre take up the paint more effectively and spread it more evenly.
While working, load the roller with paint in a paint tray, removing the excess by rolling it over the grid or the ribbed section of the tray. Apply the paint in vertical or criss-cross strokes, using two coats to achieve full coverage.
After use, rinse the roller thoroughly in warm water until the water runs clear. Rollers for water-based paints do not require solvents. Once rinsed, spin the roller dry and leave it to dry in a hanging position.
The 6 mm thread is a standard size compatible with most telescopic extension poles on the market. Before buying an extension pole, check the thread diameter – 8 mm handles are also common, and they do not fit this roller model.
