The T-handle socket wrench with universal joint is a versatile workshop tool designed for fitting and removing fasteners in confined spaces. Model YT-15271 is fitted with a 6 mm hex socket and a swivel joint that allows the shaft to be set at a range of angles.
The chromium-vanadium alloy is characterised by increased hardness and wear resistance. The chromium content provides corrosion resistance, while vanadium increases the mechanical strength of the tool while retaining sufficient flexibility to prevent cracking under load.
The joint design allows the working shaft to be set in any position relative to the handle. This solution makes it possible to work in spaces where a standard straight wrench does not provide sufficient purchase or access to the fastener. The joint remains stable under torque load.
The 6 mm size corresponds to standard screws and nuts used in precision mechanics, electronics and small metal assemblies. The hexagonal profile distributes force evenly across all edges of the fastener, minimising the risk of damaging the screw head during tightening or loosening.
The 450 mm length provides sufficient leverage to generate torque, while the 180 mm dimension defines the range of movement of the joint. These proportions make it possible to work in deep recesses and on fasteners in hard-to-reach locations without dismantling the surrounding components.

Before starting work, check that the 6 mm socket size matches the dimensions of the screw or nut. An incorrect fit damages the edges of the fastener and prevents it from being removed later. For screws with damaged or worn heads, the use of a screw extractor is recommended.
After finishing work, remove dirt from the surface of the tool with a dry cloth. The joint requires periodic lubrication with machine grease to keep it moving freely. Storing the tool in a dry place prevents corrosion of the steel surfaces. The tool must not be used as a lever or a hammer.
When using the socket wrench, work gloves are recommended to protect the hands from injury. Make sure that the socket is correctly seated on the fastener before applying force. Working in a stable position minimises the risk of the tool slipping off and damaging the workpiece.
