T15 Impact Bit 50mm S2 (Model: T00177-50-1)
An impact bit designed for Torx T15 screws, made from S2 tool steel. Engineered for use with impact drivers in conditions requiring greater resistance to dynamic loads.
Technical features
S2 tool steel
An alloy steel with increased silicon and chromium content and a hardness of 58-60 HRC. It provides resistance to abrasion and plastic deformation when transmitting high torque. The material is designed for tools working under impact loads.
Impact construction
Reinforced shank and working-zone geometry designed to absorb the pulse loads generated by impact drivers. It reduces the risk of cracking and chipping during work on hard substrates.
Torx T15 profile
A six-point star profile that provides a larger contact area with the screw recess than standard cross profiles. It minimises the risk of slipping and damage to the recess and allows higher tightening torques to be transmitted.
Magnetic tip
The magnetised working zone holds the screw on the bit during positioning and driving. Particularly useful when working in hard-to-reach places and for overhead assembly, where gravity makes fasteners difficult to hold.

Tool compatibility
The bit has a universal 1/4" hex shank (6.35 mm) and fits all standard drill drivers, impact drivers, bit drivers and quick-release bit holders. The impact construction allows the full capability of tools with an impact function to be used without any risk of damaging the bit.
Use and maintenance
Before starting work, check that the bit size matches the screw recess – the T15 profile is intended solely for Torx screws with the same designation. Using an incorrect size damages both the screw recess and the bit tip.
When driving screws, keep the bit perpendicular to the screw head and apply adequate axial pressure. Too little pressure causes slipping and accelerates wear, while excessive pressure can damage the screw recess.
After use, clean the bit of contamination and protect it against corrosion, particularly after contact with moisture or chemicals. Regularly checking the condition of the working tip allows wear to be detected early and the bit to be replaced before the profile is completely destroyed.
