An adapter that lets you fit M13–M19 taps into tools with a 1/2" drive. Made from chrome vanadium steel, it is designed for both manual and powered work — with ratchets, drills and bit holders.

Chrome vanadium steel (CrV)
The CrV alloy offers high resistance to twisting and wear — properties that matter when transmitting torque during tapping. Tools made from this material keep their drive and shape dimensions over a long service life.
1/2" drive — broad compatibility
A 1/2" drive is one of the most widespread standards in workshop tools. The adapter fits ratchets, torque wrenches, drills with a 1/2" drive, as well as extensions and universal joints in this size.
M13–M19 range with no play
The adapter covers seven tap sizes: M13, M14, M15, M16, M17, M18 and M19. The precisely matched seating eliminates axial and lateral play, which has a direct effect on the quality of the thread produced and reduces the risk of breaking the tap.
Knurled outer surface
The knurled pattern on the adapter body increases friction when gripping it by hand — useful when tightening or loosening the adapter in the tool's drive, and when working in protective gloves.

How to check compatibility
The adapter fits any M13–M19 tap with a square shank to ISO 529. Before buying, check the drive size of the driving tool — a 1/2" (12.7 mm) square drive is required. For tools with a different drive (e.g. 3/8" or 3/4"), a suitable reducer is needed.
