A polyethylene tarpaulin measuring 4 x 6 metres with a weight of 90 g/m². Made from polypropylene coated with polyethylene, it provides waterproof protection against rain and UV radiation. The reinforced eyelet construction allows it to be fastened securely.
A woven polypropylene core coated with a layer of polyethylene. This construction combines the mechanical strength of the fabric with the insulating properties of the film, preventing water from seeping through and increasing resistance to tearing.
A parameter defining the weight of the material per square metre. At 90 g/m², the tarpaulin is classed as a product for standard applications – durable enough for typical weather conditions while remaining flexible and lightweight.
UV stabilisers within the material slow down the degradation of the polymer caused by sunlight. This protection extends the service life of a tarpaulin exposed to sunlight, preventing it from becoming brittle and cracking.
Metal eyelets set along the edges of the tarpaulin and reinforced with rings. They allow ropes or hooks to be threaded through without the risk of tearing the material, ensuring secure fastening in a range of configurations.

The tarpaulin is secured with ropes, cords or elastic hooks threaded through the reinforced eyelets. The spacing of the eyelets allows it to be adapted flexibly to different structures. For longer-term fixing, additional protection of the edges against the wind is recommended.
PP/PE material requires no special maintenance. Before folding the tarpaulin, remove any dirt and dry the surface to prevent mould from developing. Storing it in a dry place, away from heat sources and sharp objects, extends the life of the product.
Avoiding prolonged contact with surfaces exceeding 60°C prevents deformation of the material. In the event of mechanical damage, the tarpaulin can be repaired with plastic repair tape or by heat welding.
With correct use and storage, a 90 g/m² tarpaulin with UV protection retains its performance properties for 2–3 seasons under constant outdoor exposure. In seasonal or occasional use, its service life may be longer.
