Protective Tarpaulin 8 x 10 m GEKO G70552
A protective tarpaulin with a surface area of 80 m², manufactured using laminated polypropylene technology with a polyethylene coating. The 120 g/m² weight delivers mechanical strength while maintaining the flexibility of the material.
Technical characteristics
Laminated construction
A woven polypropylene core coated with polyethylene on both sides forms a layer impermeable to water. This construction combines the strength of the fabric with the insulating properties of PE.
Reinforced edges
Rope-reinforced hems increase resistance to tearing at the points of greatest stress. They prevent the material from delaminating under prolonged tension.
Fixing system
Aluminium eyelets at 1 m intervals allow the fixing forces to be distributed evenly. Aluminium does not rust, which ensures the durability of the fixing points.
120 g/m² weight
The medium weight offers a compromise between strength and weight. The material is rigid enough not to cling to the surfaces being protected, yet remains flexible at low temperatures.

Use and maintenance
Fixing
When tensioning the tarpaulin, distribute the load evenly across all eyelets to avoid localised overloading. Eyelet spacing of 1 m allows flexible adaptation to different structures.
Cleaning
The polyethylene coating allows dirt to be washed off with water and detergent. The material does not absorb moisture, which prevents the growth of mould and fungi.
Storage
Dry the tarpaulin before folding it away. Store in a dry place away from heat sources. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV radiation when the tarpaulin is not in use.
