A circular saw blade with tungsten carbide tips (TCT) designed for cross-cutting and ripping softwood, hardwood, chipboard, densified laminated wood and joinery materials. The 400 mm diameter and 32 mm bore make it suitable for semi-professional and professional table saws and panel saws.
The cutting teeth are fitted with brazed tungsten carbide tips. This material is many times harder than tool steel, which translates into greater wear resistance and a longer service life for the cutting edges compared with high-speed steel (HSS) blades.
The blade is made from steel with increased resistance to thermal deformation. During intensive cutting the body does not warp, which prevents the cut line from drifting sideways and reduces the risk of the blade binding in the material.
The number of teeth determines the nature of the cut. Blades with fewer teeth (e.g. 20–24T) cut faster but leave a rough edge. The 30T version offers balanced performance: an acceptable feed rate while maintaining a relatively smooth cut, suitable for typical construction and joinery work.
The blade comes with additional reducing rings that allow it to be fitted to spindles smaller than 32 mm. Before purchase, check the spindle diameter of your saw and the maximum blade diameter specified by the machine manufacturer.

Check three parameters in your saw's instruction manual: the maximum permitted blade diameter (at least 400 mm), the spindle diameter (32 mm or smaller if a reducing ring is available) and the maximum spindle speed (must not exceed 3700 rpm). Exceeding the permitted speed risks the blade cracking.
After every work session, remove resin and pitch from the tooth surfaces using a dedicated saw blade cleaner or solvent. Contaminant build-up increases cutting resistance and accelerates wear on the carbide tips. Store the blade upright or hung up, away from other metal tools, to avoid damaging the cutting edges.
If you find cracks in the body, chipped or loose carbide tips, or permanent deformation of the blade, it must be withdrawn from use immediately. The blade is not suitable for cutting metal, masonry materials or glass-fibre reinforced plastics.
