A TCT hole saw with tungsten carbide tips designed for cutting holes in construction steel, stainless steel and plastics. The model is fitted with an HSS4341 pilot drill with a TIN coating and an ejector spring.
Tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) cutting edges offer a much longer service life than HSS hole saws. The material stays sharp even during intensive cutting of construction and stainless steel, which means less tool wear and lower running costs.
The 6 mm pilot drill is made from HSS4341 high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TIN) coating, which increases hardness and wear resistance. The durable pilot fixing eliminates play and ensures precise centring when starting a cut, which matters when working with hard materials.
The hexagonal shank prevents the tool from turning in the drill chuck under load. This system provides a secure grip and full torque transfer, which matters when drilling thicker construction steels.
An integrated spring automatically pushes the cut slug out of the hole saw body once the cut is complete. This speeds up work by removing the need to take out the cut slugs by hand, which matters when drilling many holes in a short time.

When drilling construction steel, a speed of 300-500 rpm is recommended. For stainless steel, reduce the speed to 200-350 rpm and use emulsion or oil cooling. Even, constant pressure ensures better cut quality and extends the life of the cutting edges.
The hole saw works with corded and cordless drills with a minimum power of 850 W. The HEX shank requires an adapter or a drill chuck with a hexagonal socket. Before use, check that the drill has variable speed control.
When using the hole saw, personal protective equipment is required: safety goggles, work gloves and clothing without loose parts. The workpiece should be securely clamped in a vice or with clamps. After use, the cutting edges may be hot – wait before touching them.
