Cordless telescopic pole pruner with an adjustable 200–280 cm shaft, designed for cutting branches at height without the use of ladders. The YT-82836 is fitted with an automatic chain lubrication system and tool-free chain tensioning.
Features of the telescopic pole pruner
Adjustable telescopic shaft
The 200–280 cm adjustment range allows the length of the tool to be matched to the height of the branches being cut. Combined with the operator's outstretched arms, it provides a working reach of up to 5 metres, removing the need for ladders when working at height.
Automatic chain lubrication
A continuous lubrication system supplies oil to the chain during operation, reducing wear on the guide bar and the cutting links. Automating the process prevents the chain from overheating and extends the service life of the cutting components.
Tool-free chain tensioning
The tool-free chain tension adjustment mechanism allows quick correction of the tension while working. Maintaining the correct tension ensures effective cutting and reduces the risk of the chain coming off the guide bar.
18V 2Ah Li-Ion battery
Lithium-ion cells are characterised by the absence of a memory effect and a low self-discharge rate. The 2Ah capacity provides a run time sufficient for typical pruning tasks, while a one-hour charge time minimises interruptions in use.

Use and maintenance
Preparation for use
Before starting work, check the chain tension and the oil level in the lubrication system reservoir. The battery should be charged, as shown by the 4-step indicator. Set the telescopic shaft to the required length and lock the mechanism.
Checking the chain tension
The chain should sit snugly against the guide bar while still being able to be pulled slightly away at its midpoint. A chain that is too loose may come off, while one that is too tight causes excessive wear. Adjustment is carried out using the tool-free tensioning mechanism.
Overheating protection
Built-in thermal protection monitors the temperature of the battery cells and automatically cuts the power when a safe level is exceeded. Once the battery has cooled down, the tool can be started again. This protection extends the service life of the Li-Ion battery.
Transport and storage
The folding design allows the pole pruner to be collapsed compactly for transport. After use, clean sawdust and resin residue from the chain and guide bar. During longer periods out of use, store the battery at room temperature with a charge level of 40–60%.
