A 1/2" drive telescopic ratchet designed for assembly and service work with imperial and metric sockets. The telescopic handle allows the working length to be adjusted without having to change tools, which cuts the time spent working in hard-to-reach places. The 72-tooth ratchet mechanism delivers a precise 5° swing arc.
The adjustable handle length lets you match the tool's reach to the depth of the recess or the working space. It removes the need for extension bars in many standard assembly situations.
The tooth count directly determines the minimum swing arc: with 72 teeth it is 5°. This means you can work in places where there is very little room to swing the ratchet — for example on bolts against a wall or in tight engine bays.
The reversing switch lets you tighten and loosen without changing your grip. The switch's non-slip lock prevents the direction from being changed accidentally when working under load.
The Cr-V alloy offers high torsional strength and corrosion resistance. It is the standard material for professional hand tools intended for many years of workshop use.

The ratchet works with all 1/2" drive sockets and accessories (12.7 mm imperial square drive) — both metric and imperial (AF). Before buying sockets, check that the drive size marked on the packaging is 1/2" or 12.7 mm.
After every working session, clean solid contaminants (metal filings, sand) out of the ratchet mechanism and apply a thin layer of tool grease to the moving parts. Regular lubrication extends the life of the gear teeth and prevents the mechanism from seizing. Store the tool in a dry place — Cr-V steel is corrosion-resistant, but prolonged exposure to moisture without protection can cause surface oxidation.
