An adjustable steel support rod designed to stabilise and hold building components in place during installation work. The 60-115 cm adjustment range makes it suitable for rooms of varying heights.
The adjustment mechanism allows quick initial setting by extending the telescopic section, followed by fine tightening against the component. The 60-115 cm range covers standard residential ceiling heights (floor-to-ceiling 2.4-2.8 m when fitting horizontal boards).
A pivoting joint in the top head adapts to sloped surfaces, allowing work on pitched roofs and uneven walls. It ensures an even distribution of pressure without the risk of the component slipping.
The rubber coating on the contact feet protects floors and ceilings from scratches and dents. It increases friction, keeping the support stable when working with heavy plasterboard (up to 12.5 kg/m²).
The steel section gives the support the rigidity needed to hold components weighing up to several kilograms. Its resistance to permanent deformation allows repeated use on site.

Before use, check that the floor and ceiling are stable. The support works on the compression principle, so it requires load-bearing surfaces of adequate strength. Do not use on suspended plasterboard ceilings without additional reinforcement of the supporting structure.
Check the condition of the locking mechanism and the smoothness of the telescopic movement before each use. Seized parts can prevent fine length adjustment. The rubber feet should be clean and free from building debris – sand and cement reduce grip.
Once work is finished, the support should be retracted to its minimum length to make transport and storage easier. The telescopic mechanism should be cleaned of building dust with compressed air at regular intervals. The articulated head needs to be checked for correct operation – a seized joint can cause uneven loading of the board.
When fitting plasterboard, at least two supports are recommended for a standard 120x260 cm board. A single support is sufficient to hold smaller components or for auxiliary work. The maximum load depends on the type of construction – the manufacturer does not state a limit value, so common sense and health and safety rules should be followed.
