A complete repair kit designed to restore damaged or stripped M8x1.25mm metric threads. It contains HSS4341 high-speed steel tools and 25 helical inserts made from hardened stainless steel.
Kit features
HSS4341 steel tools
The tap and drill bit are made from HSS4341 high-speed steel, which provides durability and wear resistance when cutting threads in metal. This grade of steel contains cobalt additives that increase the hardness and heat resistance of the tools.
Stainless steel helical inserts
25 helical inserts made from hardened stainless steel form a new thread surface inside the damaged hole. The helical design distributes loads evenly, increasing the strength of the repaired thread.
