A single-sided cylinder lock designed for mortice locks where keyless operation is required on the inside. The thumbturn on the inside allows the door to be locked and unlocked quickly, while the outside is operated with a key. Aluminium body, brass mechanism.

Internal thumbturn — keyless operation
On the inside, the cylinder is fitted with a thumbturn instead of a key-operated side. This allows the door to be locked or unlocked with a single turn of the hand, without reaching for a key — a solution used mainly on entrance doors to flats and offices, where a quick exit matters.
Brass cylinder mechanism
The brass mechanism is resistant to wear and corrosion. Brass is the standard material used in precision lock cylinders because of its dimensional stability and the smooth action of the pins under repeated use.
Aluminium body
The aluminium body combines low weight with mechanical strength. Aluminium does not rust, which matters particularly when the cylinder is fitted to doors exposed to moisture, such as entrance doors. The brushed nickel finish resists fingerprints and surface scratches.

How to check compatibility with your lock
Before buying, measure the length of the cylinder currently fitted on both sides from the centre line of the fixing screw. The 30g/45 marking means: 30 mm on the thumbturn (inside) side and 45 mm on the key (outside) side. The total length of the cylinder is 75 mm. You should also make sure that the mortice lock accepts a standard cylinder profile.
