The KD12518 is a timing tool kit for locking the timing system on Ford 1.0 EcoBoost (SCTi/EcoNETiK) engines. It allows precise locking of the camshafts and crankshaft at TDC, which is required when replacing the timing belt, repairing the cylinder head and adjusting the valves.

Dedicated geometry
The tool has been designed for the specific architecture of the 1.0 EcoBoost engine. The precise fit of the locking pieces into the service holes in the cylinder head and engine block eliminates the risk of incorrect timing when fitting the belt.
Hardened tool steel
