Professional 3/4-inch drive torque wrench designed for the controlled tightening of threaded fasteners to torques between 80 and 400 Nm. A tool used in automotive workshops, mechanical workshops and the machine-building industry.
The wide measuring range allows both smaller suspension components (80-150 Nm) and the wheel bolts of HGVs or engine components requiring high torques to be tightened. The range covers the typical wheel nut tightening torques of passenger cars (110-120 Nm) and vans (140-180 Nm).
The 3/4" (19.05 mm) square drive is the standard for professional industrial applications and heavy automotive work. The larger drive size, compared with the popular 1/2", provides greater mechanical strength and the ability to transmit higher torques without the risk of damaging the mechanism.
The body is made from alloy steel, which offers increased resistance to mechanical wear, deformation and corrosion. The material retains its mechanical properties over a wide range of operating temperatures, ensuring repeatable readings under varying operating conditions.
The locking mechanism prevents the set torque value from being changed accidentally during use. This feature is particularly important when tightening multiple fasteners to the same value in production – it removes the need to check the setting before each use.

The wrench works with impact and standard sockets with a 3/4" drive. Check that your sockets have the correct drive size – 1/2" sockets require an adaptor, which can affect torque measurement accuracy. For full precision, use sockets designed for a 3/4" drive.
Before first use, check the calibration of the wrench against a master or reference device. A torque wrench requires periodic calibration – under intensive use, every 5000 tightening cycles or once a year.
After use, set the wrench to its lowest torque value (80 Nm), which relieves the internal spring and extends the life of the mechanism. Storing the tool with a high torque setting leads to permanent deformation of the spring and a loss of measuring accuracy.
Protect the wrench mechanism from contamination – sand, metal swarf and oil can affect its accuracy. Do not use the wrench as an ordinary socket wrench to loosen fasteners – this can damage the measuring mechanism.
The wrench signals that the set torque has been reached with a characteristic click from the release mechanism. Once you hear the signal, stop tightening immediately – turning further will exceed the set value. To maintain tightening precision, apply the force smoothly, without jerking.
