An impact socket with a 1/2-inch drive and an E20 TORX (external) profile, designed for use with torque wrenches, ratchets and impact drivers. Made from chrome vanadium (CrV) steel.
A standard square drive size, compatible with most torque wrenches, ratchets and impact drivers used in automotive and industrial workshops. It ensures a secure connection with the driving tool.
The "E" designation refers to the external profile, used for loosening and tightening screws with a TORX recess. Size E20 corresponds to a diameter of approximately 3.5 mm and is widely used in the automotive industry, particularly in braking systems.
A steel alloy with added chromium and vanadium, characterised by increased hardness and wear resistance. This material retains its mechanical properties even under intensive use, which translates into a longer tool life.
The reinforced construction allows use with impact tools that generate rotational pulses. Thicker walls and special heat treatment protect against cracking when working at high torque.

Before buying, check the marking on the bolt or in the technical documentation for the device. The TORX E20 profile is an external profile – the socket has protrusions that fit into the star-shaped recess in the bolt. It should not be confused with the internal profile (T20), where the socket has a recess.
Before first use, check the condition of the working profile – the edges should be sharp and free from damage. During use, push the socket fully onto the bolt, keeping the tool axis perpendicular to the working surface. This prevents wear on the profile and damage to the bolt head.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and protect it with a thin layer of protective oil. Storing it in a dry place prevents corrosion. Check the condition of the profile regularly – worn edges can cause the socket to slip off the bolt head and damage it.
