YATO YT-78035 TORX T30 1/4" 50 mm Screwdriver Bits
TORX T30 screwdriver bits made from S2 steel with a nickel-plated finish. The pack contains two 50 mm bits with a 1/4" hex shank.
Technical features
S2 tool steel
S2 is a hardened silicon-molybdenum steel with a higher silicon content. It combines flexibility with hardness, which minimises the risk of cracking when working under high torque. A hardness of 58-60 HRC delivers resistance to wear and plastic deformation.
TORX T30 profile
The TORX system uses a star-shaped profile with six rounded lobes. This design increases the contact area with the screw and spreads the forces over a larger surface, which reduces the risk of damaging the screw head and extends the service life of the bit. The T30 size corresponds to an external diameter of approximately 5.52 mm.
50 mm working length
A length of 50 mm is a compromise between reach and stability. It allows work in areas with limited access while retaining the rigidity needed to transmit torque. It performs well in most workshop and assembly applications.
Nickel-plated finish
A nickel coating a few micrometres thick acts as a barrier against electrochemical corrosion. It increases resistance to moisture and the chemicals present in a workshop environment. It also reduces the coefficient of friction, making it easier to insert and remove the bit from the holder.
