A professional snap-off knife fitted with an 8-segment SK2H steel blade hardened to 62-64 HRC. Its ABS body and stainless steel blade guide ensure durability in intensive use.
SK2H tool carbon steel hardened to 62-64 HRC offers increased resistance to abrasion. Its higher hardness compared with standard blades (approx. 58 HRC) translates into longer edge retention and the ability to cut harder materials without the edge rapidly dulling.
The blade is divided into 8 segments, allowing worn sections to be snapped off using the integrated end cap. Each snap exposes a fresh, sharp cutting edge. The 0.5 mm thickness enables precise cutting while maintaining adequate strength.
The blade guide is made from stainless steel, which eliminates corrosion and ensures smooth blade extension. Stainless steel has a lower coefficient of friction than standard steels, which translates into greater blade stability during use.
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) is a thermoplastic with enhanced resistance to impact and abrasion. The material retains its properties at temperatures from -20°C to +80°C, ensuring reliability in a range of working conditions.

The removable end cap doubles as a blade snapper. To snap off a worn segment, insert the blade into the cap up to the perforation line, press down and break it off. Carry out the operation with the blade fully extended and keep the knife away from your body.
Once all 8 segments are worn, the entire blade should be replaced. Standard 18 mm snap-off blades are compatible. Replacement involves undoing the locking screw, removing the worn blade and fitting a new one in the correct orientation.
The lanyard hole at the rear of the body allows a cord or lanyard to be attached. This prevents the tool from being dropped when working at height or in confined spaces.
