Professional deep impact socket designed for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches. Manufactured from CR-MO chrome molybdenum steel, it delivers durability in industrial and workshop conditions.
The LONG profile provides access to bolts and nuts seated deep within recesses, as commonly found in automotive and industrial assemblies. The extended length allows work in places that standard sockets cannot reach.
Chrome molybdenum steel is characterised by increased resistance to impact and deformation. Unlike chrome vanadium steel (CR-V), CR-MO retains its resilience under impact load, which prevents the tool from cracking when used with impact wrenches.
The internal hexagonal profile distributes force over a larger contact area with the bolt, minimising the risk of rounding the edges of the fastener. Precision manufacturing reduces play between the socket and the nut.
Allows the use of a retaining pin to prevent the socket from accidentally slipping off the drive when working at height or in a vertical position. A useful feature in industrial and construction applications.

The choice of socket material has a direct effect on tool durability in impact applications.
| Parameter | CR-MO (chrome molybdenum) | CR-V (chrome vanadium) |
| Impact resistance | Very high – absorbs impact energy without cracking | Limited – may crack under high dynamic loads |
| Resilience | Higher – the material deforms elastically | Lower – reduced ability to absorb energy |
| Application | Pneumatic and electric impact wrenches | Hand tools (ratchets, socket wrenches) |
| Workshop durability | Long-term operation under intensive conditions | Suitable for occasional use |
The socket is compatible with all impact wrenches fitted with a 1/2" drive. Before use, check that the tool's torque output does not exceed the strength of the bolted joint. When working with high-torque wrenches, the use of a retaining pin is recommended.
Impact sockets require basic maintenance to retain their technical parameters over a long period.
After use, clean the socket of dirt and oil residue. Regular lubrication of the drive recess extends the service life of both the socket and the wrench anvil. Where the tool is used intensively, checking the condition of the internal profile is recommended – wear on the 6-point edges leads to slipping and damage to fasteners.
Do not use impact sockets with hand tools fitted with a lever extension bar – excessive static loads can cause permanent deformation of the material. CR-MO sockets are designed for dynamic rather than static loads.
