Short impact socket designed for professional use with pneumatic, electric and cordless impact wrenches. Manufactured from CR-MO chrome-molybdenum steel for resistance to extreme impact loads.
A material dedicated to impact applications. Its molybdenum content increases fatigue strength and resistance to cracking under cyclic loads. Unlike CR-V (chrome-vanadium) steel, CR-MO retains its elastic properties even under repeated impacts, which prevents permanent deformation.
A 19.05 mm (3/4 inch) square drive – the standard for professional heavy-duty impact wrenches. A larger drive than 1/2" allows higher torque to be transmitted without the risk of damaging the connection. Compatible with pneumatic, electric and cordless impact wrenches fitted with this output size.
The internal hex spreads pressure evenly across all faces of the bolt or nut. It minimises the risk of rounding off fastener corners, particularly on rusted or overtightened joints. Precision manufacturing ensures minimal working clearance.
The cross hole allows a retaining pin to be fitted, locking the socket onto the wrench anvil. It prevents the tool from coming loose when working at height or in hard-to-reach places. It improves safety during intensive use.

CR-MO (chrome-molybdenum) steel offers higher impact resistance and better elastic properties than CR-V (chrome-vanadium). Molybdenum increases fatigue strength, which is crucial under the cyclic loads of impact wrenches. CR-V performs well in hand tools, where static loads dominate. Only CR-MO sockets are recommended for use with pneumatic and electric impact wrenches.
Before first use, check that the socket is correctly seated on the wrench anvil – the clearance should not exceed 0.2 mm. When working with an impact wrench, do not exceed the maximum torque recommended by the wrench manufacturer.
After use, clean dust and dirt from the socket with compressed air. In damp or corrosive environments, apply a thin film of protective oil. Check the condition of the internal profile periodically – visible rounded corners or cracks mean the tool must be taken out of service.
Impact sockets do not require lubrication during use, although the connection to the wrench anvil can be lightly greased to make fitting and removing the tool easier.
