Two-Piece Lashing Strap 6 m / 35 mm / 2 t — KD1328
A polyester lashing strap designed for securing and restraining loads during road transport. It meets the requirements of EN 12195-2:2000, which sets out the minimum standards for the strength, labelling and use of load restraint straps.
Product features
35 mm polyester webbing
Polyester has low water absorption and resists stretching under the influence of moisture — unlike nylon, it does not lose its tensioning force once wet. The 35 mm width ensures that pressure is distributed evenly across the surface of the load.
Metal tensioning buckle
The all-metal buckle is responsible for tensioning the strap and locking it in the chosen position. The metal construction resists mechanical deformation that could otherwise cause the lashing to work loose while driving.
2 tonne lashing capacity
The LC (lashing capacity) rating of 2 t specifies the maximum permissible working load of the strap. With a two-piece lashing arrangement, this means that loads of up to 2 t can be secured with a lashing force in accordance with EN 12195-2.
Temperature range -40 to +100°C
The wide operating temperature range allows the strap to be used both in winter conditions (freezers, refrigerated transport) and in high-temperature environments. The material does not lose its strength properties within these limits.
Standard EN 12195-2:2000
The European standard EN 12195-2 sets out the requirements for web lashings made from man-made fibres. It specifies, among other things, the minimum breaking force, the labelling of the LC value and the test methods. The product is supplied with a declaration of conformity with this standard.

Use and maintenance
Before each use, check the condition of the webbing for chafing and cuts, and inspect the buckle for damage. The strap must not be used if there is visible mechanical damage or if the LC value would be exceeded by the weight of the load being secured. After use in wet conditions, dry the webbing before folding it away — this prevents mould growth and fibre degradation. Store away from direct UV exposure and chemical substances (acids, alkalis, solvents) that can weaken the polyester structure.
