The KD1332 is a two-piece lashing strap designed for securing and fastening loads during road transport. The 35 mm wide, 8 m long polyester webbing works with a metal ratchet buckle to hold loads of up to 2 tonnes securely in place.
Product features
35 mm polyester webbing
Polyester absorbs very little water and offers high resistance to mechanical abrasion. The 35 mm width distributes pressure evenly across the surface of the load, reducing the risk of damage to the items being transported.
Metal ratchet buckle
A buckle made entirely from metal keeps the tensioning mechanism stable even after repeated use. Metal components resist deformation and cracking better than plastic alternatives, which matters when loads approach the capacity limit.
UV and weather resistance
The webbing retains its strength parameters when exposed to UV radiation and moisture. This is important during prolonged transport on open vehicles or when the strap is stored in fluctuating temperature conditions.

How to choose a lashing strap for your load
Two parameters are key when choosing a strap: load capacity and length. The capacity of the strap (2 t in the case of the KD1332) should match the weight of the load being secured — it is worth using straps with a strength margin. The 8 m length allows bulky loads to be secured or a multi-point lashing technique to be used. The 35 mm width is standard for semi-professional and professional applications, providing sufficient contact area with the load.
Use and maintenance
After each use, clean the strap of mechanical contamination (mud, sand) that can accelerate abrasion of the webbing fibres. Store the strap in a place protected from direct sunlight and moisture, rolled up or folded without sharp creases. Before each use, check the condition of the webbing for abrasion, tears or deformation, and check that the ratchet buckle mechanism operates correctly. A strap with visible mechanical damage should not be used.
