Features of the YATO YT-85135 Strimmer Head
No-wind line replacement system
The head does not require time-consuming winding of the line onto a spool. The lines are fitted directly into the holes, which shortens the time needed to prepare the tool for work and eliminates problems with winding the line correctly.
Universal 25.4 mm mounting bore
A mounting bore diameter of 25.4 mm (1 inch) ensures compatibility with most petrol brushcutters on the market, including the YATO YT-85001 and YT-85003 models. Check the drive shaft diameter on your brushcutter before purchase.
Eight-end cutting system
Four cutting lines, each with two working ends, form a total of eight cutting points. This design increases the cutting area and work efficiency, particularly in dense grass.

The head is fitted by screwing it onto the threaded end of the drive shaft. The quick line replacement system involves inserting the line into the appropriate holes in the head body, without the need to dismantle the whole mechanism.
Cutting line specifications
The head works with lines of 2-3 mm diameter and 300-430 mm length. Thinner lines are suitable for cutting delicate grass, while thicker lines perform better on weeds and dense vegetation. Four cutting lines are supplied.
Use and safety
When working with a brushcutter fitted with a strimmer head, wear personal protective equipment: safety glasses, hearing protection, work gloves and safety boots with reinforced toe caps. The strimmer head can throw up stones and plant debris, so do not work near bystanders.
Regularly checking the condition of the lines and replacing them once worn ensures cutting efficiency and safety at work. Worn or damaged lines should be replaced with new ones of the correct specifications.
Head maintenance
