Cylinder Head Valve Spring Compressors — 10-Piece Set KD10213
A set designed for fitting and removing valves in internal combustion engine cylinder heads. It comprises rollers in five diameters together with threaded extensions, allowing work on a range of cylinder head configurations found in cars, vans and motorcycles. The kit is supplied in a carry case.
Set features
Five roller diameters
Rollers in diameters of 16, 19, 23.5, 25.1 and 30 mm allow the tool to be matched to different valve seat sizes. One set therefore covers a wide range of cylinder heads without the need for a separate tool for each engine.
Three threaded extensions
Extensions measuring 69.5 mm, 115 mm and 119 mm allow the reach of the tool to be adapted to the depth of the valve chamber. The threaded connection ensures stable and reliable transmission of force when compressing valve springs.
Standardised roller height
A uniform roller height of 47.5 mm provides a repeatable point of contact on the cylinder head, which reduces the risk of damaging the surface during work and makes the spring removal process easier to control.
Carry case included
All components are stored in a dedicated case with moulded recesses. This makes it easy to reassemble the set after work and to transport it between service bays, and it also protects the components from mechanical damage.

Choosing the correct roller diameter
Before starting work, measure the outside diameter of the valve spring or check the technical data for the engine concerned. The roller should rest securely on the spring retainer — one that is too small may damage it, while one that is too large will not provide proper support. Cylinder head manufacturers often list spring dimensions in technical documentation or parts catalogues.
