VDE insulated ring spanner designed for work on live electrical installations up to 1000V AC. The offset design allows work in confined spaces where straight tools are difficult to use.
Certified insulation meeting the EN 60900 standard protects against electric shock when working on live electrical installations. Every VDE tool undergoes individual dielectric strength testing at 10 000V, which guarantees safety at working voltages up to 1000V AC or 1500V DC.
CrV material offers greater hardness and wear resistance than standard tool steels. The addition of vanadium improves resistance to material fatigue, extending tool life under intensive use in workshop conditions.
The angle of the head allows work in areas with limited access, where a standard straight spanner cannot be used. The offset design allows the nut to be turned freely without repositioning the tool after each turn, which speeds up assembly and disassembly.
The handle, made from hard plastic with a non-slip layer, provides a stable grip during work. The insulating material is resistant to oils, solvents and weather conditions, allowing the dielectric properties to be maintained over the long term.

The EN 60900 standard specifies the requirements for insulated hand tools intended for live working. Tools meeting this standard must pass tests for mechanical strength, impact resistance, fire resistance and dielectric performance. VDE certification confirms that the tool has been tested by an independent institute and meets all safety requirements for working at voltages up to 1000V AC.
Check the condition of the insulation before every use – any damage to the insulating layer disqualifies the tool from live working. VDE tools should be stored in dry conditions, away from heat sources and sharp objects that could damage the insulation.
Do not modify or repair the insulating layer yourself. Damaged VDE tools must be replaced or professionally recertified. Periodic checks of the insulation are recommended, particularly under intensive use in workshop conditions.
Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid contact with aggressive chemical agents that may weaken the dielectric properties of the insulating layer.
