A grouting and tile cleaning sponge made from super-absorbent polyurethane foam. Designed for removing excess grout, smoothing joints and cleaning the surface of ceramic, terracotta and porcelain tiles.
Features of the VOREL grouting sponge
Super-absorbent structure
Open-cell polyurethane foam effectively absorbs water and grout residue. This property allows joints to be cleaned efficiently without washing out the grout excessively, which matters during the final stage of tiling work.

Use and maintenance
Preparation before use
Before first use, soak the sponge in clean water and wring out the excess thoroughly. A damp but not dripping sponge provides the optimal conditions for cleaning grout without washing it out excessively.
Grouting technique
When removing excess grout, move the sponge diagonally across the joints. This prevents the grout from being wiped out of the joint. Rinse the sponge regularly in clean water and wring it out thoroughly before each further pass.
Cleaning after use
After finishing work, rinse the sponge under running water until all grout residue has been removed. Mild detergents may be used. Dry the sponge in a well-ventilated place laid out flat, which prevents the structure from deforming.
Storage
Store the product in a dry place away from heat sources. Avoid storing it damp for prolonged periods, as this can lead to mould growth within the foam structure.
