Vorel 18504 Try Square with Sliding Support 1000mm
A steel workshop try square with a sliding stabilising support and a two-component foot. Designed for marking out, checking right angles and taking accurate measurements in carpentry, building and installation work.
Features of the Try Square with Sliding Support
Sliding stabilising support
The sliding support mechanism provides an extra point of contact when marking out long straight lines and checking angles. It is particularly useful when working on large surfaces, where a standard try square has to be held in place.
Steel construction
The steel body resists mechanical deformation during intensive workshop use. The material keeps the right angle true even after repeated drops or loading of the tool.
Millimetre graduations
The scale marked directly on the blade allows measurements to be taken without a separate tape measure. It makes it quick to measure distances when marking out and to check the dimensions of components.

Use and maintenance
Correct use

Tool maintenance
After use, remove dirt from the surface of the try square with a dry cloth. The sliding support mechanism should be checked periodically for free movement, and any dirt should be cleaned from the guides. Storing the tool in a dry place prevents corrosion of the steel components.
